BioM&S faculty supervise graduate students on a wide range of topics in the fields of biomathematics, biostatistics and bioinformatics. The University Guelph also has large and active programs in biology, biomedical, veterinary and agricultural sciences, providing further opportunities for interdisciplinary work and co-supervision with faculty in biology-related departments.
Degree programs in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics include both MSc and PhD degrees in applied mathematics and applied statistics. BioM&S faculty also participate in interdisciplinary MSc and PhD degree programs, such as the Biophysics Interdepartmental Group (BIG) and the Toxicology Program, both of which offer MSc and PhD degress.
